VISA Information

Currently, foreign nationals/people who are willing to enter Japan need a visa newly issued by Embassies or Consulates or Consular Office of Japan (for Taiwan, Taipei Kaohsiung offices of Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association) (hereinafter referred to as "Japan’s overseas establishments") in the country/region depending on the purpose of their entry. Based on New Border Measures (27) from 1 March 2022, we will help with preparing documents of the visa application for only those who accepted presentations of PSE 2021+.

Application for visa is made by the applicant him/herself at the Japanese overseas establishments with jurisdiction over the area in which the applicant resides or those with jurisdiction over the country/region of which the applicant’s passport is issued.

The conditions below are needed for those who participate in PSE 2021+

  1. Author of accepted papers (or his/her accompanying person)
  2. Registering with fully paid status
  3. Having valid passport
  4. Detailed itinerary should be submitted
    *The number of days you can stay before and after the symposium is basically 2 days, and up to 1 week if there are unavoidable circumstances such as the effect of reduced flights.
The VISA Support desk of PSE 2021+ has stopped to accept the new request for issuing documents for VISA application on 16 May 2022 (17:00 Japan Std. Time) as previously announced.
